the only thing you could have done was try to put the car as close to stock as possible and then have taken it to ford...  that's what I did when my box went... it cost me $200 to have the injectors, cooler, and unichip taken out , And I got a new box..

Stooge! :spoton:

It wasn’t like that at all the car was bought and I paid the amount for the extended warranty. took the car to ford and they told me what I had to do... so I did it... the bloke at ford told me that they would have to have a bloke fly up to asses the shape of the box.....

that's the smart think to do, people that bag other people for getting warranty are either to stupid or tight to put there car back to std

Mrs bought the extended warranty, I said I thought it was a good idea. any way If I had known before we bought I would have completely sifted through the fine print and been a bit tighter about the whole extended warranty thing or would not have got the extended warranty and gone full sik on the T.

Either way now I understand a little more about Ford warranty and can now see the errors that I have made and I dont blame ford warranty for any of this situation.

Perhaps if Ford didn't try and get out of honouring any number of ligitamate warranty claims on stock vehicles, whilst allowing an apprentice or two to thrash the f@ck out of your $50, 000 investment, customers would be less likely to try it on in return.

What goes around comes around I say..............within reason of course.

Hey Mickey, sorry to hear about your troubles. But as stated “you play you pay”.

This is why I’m considering returning my car to standard. If my trans sh*t it self, I do not have the $$ to fix it, plus the misses would tear my n?ts out with a chainsaw.

My T has only done 500klm since the custom tune, but the torque this thing produces is HUGE. Don’t get me wrong it feels awesome, but it can’t be good for the trans.
