It be like night and day; it's embarassing how bad the stock units are by comparison. I'm sure someone here had one, and switched to one of the others. Doesn't matter what shifter you get, your Ford dealer will be able to install it. I'd be surprised if a shifter could void any sort of warranty as well.Herrod costs $500, the Mal Wood unit is ~$325 outright, a Ripshift some ~$499 (not including fitting).
