I want to mount an antenna on the T and want to put it in a place where it is easy to remove when not in use. I dont want to drill holes but if I have to then so be it. I want to use one of those rubbery antennas CD51 but again I dont hav to. what is the best way to do what I want to do?

Your car has no gearbox and you're worried about a frikkin antenna.

Get an onglass antena. They look like a mobile phone one and work well.

We do have a "usual channel", but it's normally selected on the day by whoever is organising the cruise. Any channel number from 13 - 30 is a good choice.

Any decent 3db UHF antenna would be sufficient. You can take a look at my RFI Unity Gain 3db UHF Antenna. Great glass mount antenna with interchangeable whips.
