Ok im in the process of selling the old car and will keep about $2500 and chuck the rest on the loan....

I have a stock BA T auto with only a second CAI as far as mods go.... Im after bang for your buck performance mods and also to be reliable....

I have been looking at the packages from some of the usuals here in melb and they all offer like a flasher and a tune for approx $1000 to $1500. After that they all jump to like over $2500. My question is what to do with the rest.... Im really interested with the WOG's package if its still available... I think its the flasher, tune, cooler and BOV for $1700 if its still on that is.... After a sleeper look to the car (all go no show)

I would get,

FLASH TUNER WITH CUTOM TUNE $1300 - $1500

NIZPRO VALVE SPRINGS $220 - $260

BOSCH 968'S $550- $600 (on ebay branned new)

OR

WOG COOLER/MONZA $450

FUEL PUMP $120 -260

there are a few goodies you could do and dont forget you have to add inStallation price as well.If you want bang for your buck I would go see the wog at XTC PERFORMANCE.

Well I need an edit and custom tunes.... but I want a larger cooler(mainly for the looks of it), lower it too, I think ill need a tranny cooler, maybe valve springs?? Im not chasing massive power anythink over 250rwkw's ill be happy (for now) and I have read that with just an edit and tune I should prob get that....

go speak to the wog, you wont need valve springs

Take my advice - you are doing this the wrong way round but I can understand why. You really must try and work out what you want out of your car and then price up options and paths to achieve it. Do it the other way and there will always be other things and bits and pieces. Make sure you are systematic in the way you think it through, remembering that other important issues will arise as you go up the power curve which must be attended to in order to maintain a total, safe and driveable package For example, brakes, valve springs, suspension, upgraded transmission (either clutch or auto upgrade) should all be attended to if you Edit the software and fit larger injectors to give the 270+RWKW output. Dont waste your money on exhaust - or at most maybe a higher flow rate cat as the standard system is darn good, don't waste your money on larger diameter wheels - they do nothing for handling and effectively double the cost of tyre replacement for every inch diameter you add or lower springs - might look a bit better but you'll be amazed how many places you can no longer drive your car - and does it really handle any better.....as much as we love it it's still a 1.7 Tonne massed produced sedan and we must be realistic in our ambtions and tastes?

Finally go to someone who really knows what they are doing rather than just claims to, someone who has a proven track record, someone who will only tune via a dyno and someone to whom you can always go back to if things do not turn out as you expect ( believe me that leaves VERY few options right now).

Well get the edit and the wog/monza cooler bolts straight up and its about double the size of the standed one,you can see it in the pic in my cig. then go get some king spring ssl and dump it.

Tranny cooler wouldnt hurt either.
