Congrats mate! Your like a pioneer to us! lol

Have you got it set up plumbback or straight to the air?

If you've got it to the air are you putting a filter on it?

and did you install it yourself??

A GFB in melb i wonder???

i'll go back and check out the link.

write back soon - Cheers!

Ben

Ben,

Just email them at sales@gofastbits.com.au they will point you to their preferred distributor.

As for installing it the guys at GFB installed it for me, as we were looking at the design process of where it would go and the ease of removing it if need be.

Its set to air at the moment, and only set to around 4 out of 10. As for a filter, ill have to ask the guys at GFB and get back to you.

Got this response from GFB this morning..

Hi Chris,

I assume he was concerned about unfiltered air entering the engine? If so, a

BOV is like a one-way device, there is no possible condition in which air

would actually go IN through the valve. Besides which, if you put a filter

on it (some rally guys will to prevent dirt from getting into the moving

parts) it kills the noise off completely, in which case you might as well

stick with the plumb back! Rest assured, if it needed a filter, we would fit

one.

Cheers,

Does this increase performance?? or is the fancy woosh sound the only advantage

Got this from Brett @ GFB today

To be honest the performance advantage is quite small on the XR6, this is

because it is a low-pressure system and the turbo is nowhere near its full

capacity. It is also to do with the fact that the aluminium casting (with

Turbo written on it) has tiny holes in the inlet and outlets for the valve,

which greatly restrict airflow. The benefits (apart from the noise factor)

will come if the power is lifted though.

And as for noise its a wooooooooosh, pssttt noise..

I think we're all forgetting the most important part here, GFB are entirely australian made and owned.
