I have just returned from QLD and I brought back some nice roses from the funeral now I want to try and grow some plants from the cuttings as a living tribute, I have the hormones and some fresh soil but you only get one chance and I would like some advice if anyone has done this before.

On the lighter side returning home last night Slybeast had a run in with Skippy, and Skippy won, mainly superficial damage but the front spoiler now lives someware on the highway near Newcastle.

hmmmm reminds me of the Foxing ole yella got on the wayback from BVWE1.

Didn't realise the damage until I got home. I, however didn't see the lighter side at 1.00am after a 10 hour drive :spoton:

I assume by hormones you mean "rooting powder".

You need to use specific rose potting mix and fertilizers.

make sure the end of the cutting is clean and on an angle, best to do this under running water, follow instructions on "hormone" packet and plant away.
