Joking aside, great work Dave getting the results you did with what you had and kudos to all those that helped you get there.

Well done mate, it is great to see.  I think I have broken enough components for the both of us so you are have a great run without breaking things lol.

The is a great time in your climate with the setup of the car, having done many runs myself, you know in your gut if the car has anything left in it. Do you think it was close to the best run you can do with the car in the current trim?

Congrats once again,

Dean

,thanks!

I beleive the car as I ran it on sat, has a 10.8 - 10.75 in it.

that would take a 1.55 60ft, which is realy on the edge, of the c/v's.

a bit cooler weather would drop it more, but that is not going to happen up here for a while,

maybe I should have had another go as it cooled off, but I felt that,I had got there without breaking anything, so I whimped out, it would not have sound as good if I had broke a c/v, in the next round.

How did your Gtech times compare with the actual you ran. My pda is exact on ET, and got me excited in testing before I went to the track, which backed it up. You must have known you were going to go close??

I don't try to get the best time out of the gtech,

I do a smooth stedy start, change 2 as soon as the auto will let it, then to 3rd,

this is about 25klmh, then I put my foot down, and let it do a pull through to 6300rpm.

this gives me a hp or kw gragh similar to a dyno, this is done on a road that is level.

because of the slow start, and having to pull in 3rd from 25k's, it only does about a 12.3 or there abouts. but it was showing up around 125klmph at the end.

but when the car was standed, I tested it, and the times are close if the road is flat.

but the mph alway's seemed to be about 3mph to much, but once you know this, you can just take about 3 off.

What tyres and suspension setup are you using?

stock 17inch rims allround, M/T street radial tyres on the back.

suspenion is all stock,

I wanted it to look like it just came off the showroom floor,

Well done David I know how bad you wanted these times, and have worked hard in getting the results you truly deserve mate.

Great to see the T set a new benchmark.

thanks Rob,  hows your car going?

Ran the car for the first time since the upgrade (cooler, plumbing etc) Had to back off becasue the car was pinging so bad and at the same time shattered the plentury gears. The car rolled over the line still at 11.7 but only at 112mph (down 12mph)

Has a 10 second pass it it for sure, just like your beast has done!
