His obsessions are, Simpsons, Seinfeld and every code of football. He can instantly tell you any line, score, try, date time etc etc relating to any of these, in particular footy. Was an honour to work with him Its very pleasing to see that somebody took the time with Stephen Wiltshire and allowed him to be who is he is.shazzy Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/28939-wow/#findComment-443044 Share on other sites

He learnt Icelandic, widely regarded as the hardest language in the world to learn , even by it's native speakers, in one week!Wen't from not knowing a single word, to speaking, on live TV, with near perfect grammer and pronunciation! Phenomenal! Some amazing pictures there too Dags!Truly shows how amazing the human brain is but the greatest shame is the acute social dysfunction that these magnificent people suffer along with their tremendous gifts!Lumpy Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/28939-wow/#findComment-443150 Share on other sites

Savant Syndrome describes people with both a severe developmental or mental handicap and extraordinary mental abilities not found in most people. The Savant Syndrome skills involve striking feats of memory and often include arithmetic calculation and sometimes art or music.More info and links here You have probably heard the term ASD, which is Autistic Spectrum Disorder.this covers varying degrees of autism including Asperger. High functioning brains, learn very differently to "normal" children and plenty of social disorders along with it.Suggested viewing or reading# Mozart and the Whale, a film about a taxi driver with a superhuman knack for numbers and his budding romance with a fellow Aspie.I watched this move it depicts the social challenges of people with Asperger almost perfectly and shows you the lighter side as well. Bloody Brilliant# Mercury Rising, a film about an autistic boy whose life is threatened because of his ability to decipher complex encryption.# Rain Man, the autistic main character of which was inspired by savant Kim Peek.an oldie but a goodie # The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, a novel about a boy with Asperger syndrome who has amazing numerical ability and a photographic memory.A well written book that gives you a good incite into how in their minds everything is related and converted to numbers, Easy to read Shazzy Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/28939-wow/#findComment-443213 Share on other sites

I.e. he always struggles with ordinary maths and money, but can do reams of algebra, has abilities and skills from an early age that no one had shown or taught him, he does these things but can't explain to you why he why he knows how.helpful linksinfo on multiple intelligencestest to find the way you learnshazzy Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/28939-wow/#findComment-443218 Share on other sites
