Simply put, there just aint the market in Oz to support a family sized sport sedan with the sophistication of a TT setup. There simply is no reason for Ford to even think about it when the current set-up is so well performed and sold. This particular plane will not get off the ground.Just like the other famous one........ ←agreed, development costs and manufacturing costs outweigh the return.Ford AUS was lucky to get an I6 Turbo into Barra in the first place, let alone complicating it even further. Twin turbo just a waste of time for an inline 6 for most applications. If the fat pig BA/BF is getting fatter with the next model then that's a huge disappointment. I jumped ship from Late model camira due the size and weight of the VE, F6 might be the last Aussie car I own. It's too big, but the powers unbeleivable for the money and it handles very well despite it's weight. But as Scotty says, "canna take no more captain"Give me a car the size of the Torana concept, with a 3.5l six, 1550kg, turbo 250kW, 500Nm, big brakes, $55K and I'm in heaven. BMW almost makes that car but it's double the price.

How is it the Euros can make big cars full of every conceivable gadget that weight no more than the Falcadores?

I know the Euro cars are a lot dearer here than a Falcadore but a lot of that is Aust Govt taxes and charges.
