I hope it works cause I just bought one of each as well
I haven't actually bought mine yet - been too busy building carputers for other people to work on mine :nono:

Let us know how it goes

How will you interface the gauges?
OBD with the included software displaying on the ICC is the plan
I have been doing alot of research into the carputer also and am going to put together a package using a 16 bit Anlogue I/O board with 8 inputs and 8 digital outputs. I can then write the software for it in VB Script.
You obviously have a far better knowledge of this stuff than I do - I have no idea what you just said!
Also, I am looking at getting a touch screen overlay, have you seen them? Are they any good? They are USB so shouldn't be too hard to interface.
Yep, I have had a look at them. I am contemplating changing jobs soon, and I might have to give up the Turbo (Novated Lease). If I do then I will have to get an aftermarket TFT screen, most likley with touchscreen included. That is the reason I have held off on getting the touch screen overlay
You will be able to hook the amplified signal up to another amp, but you will not get a multiplied gain (eg 1st amp is 9db and 2nd is 10db you will not get a 19db gain) but you will get some gain.
As in the above post, I will wait and see how Goobs's antenna goes

Don't hold your breath waiting for me! :eyebrows:

I don't have a car to put mine in yet. I have a room full of carputers, wiring, amps, caps, edit, exhaust, injectors etc. just waiting for a car to go into!

I should hopefully have one in the next month or so. But who knows!

As soon as I get it though I will have everything ready to go in! :bum:

I asked the seller a question about the metallic tint so I'll let you know when he gets back to me..

I hate to point it out but the Winfast TV2000 is an analogue tuner card and not a DVB-T tuner card.

I have two Compro DVB-T cards http://www.comprousa.com/New/en/product/vmt300.html running in my home PC which allows me to record two digital tv signals at the same time. No idea how well the reception is when cruising up the freeway though. I'll eventually pop my notebook PC with USB DVB-T tuner in my car in the middle of next year (hopefully).

Keep up the good work otherwise!!
