I smashed my car 3 weeks ago in the rain and I got the phone call today and the insurace company told me it was written off. missing it heaps already.Allready planning my next car I want to but a ute prob a t.. not to shore yet.. oh yeah and I got neg driving in the accisent so that mean I will lose my license sh*t... no t and no licence for me :blink:

Does that mean insurance won't pay out - If it was deemed to be reckless??

It's just standard procedure for police to fine you for neg drive when you crash your car and your at fault. I was charged neg drive when I wrote off my car and the insurance company still payed.

The neg driving charge when having an accident is an easy one to get out of, write a letter explaining what happened (if you werent being reckless) and you will probably get out of it given the circumstances
