Hi Guys,

Just the other day I noticed my left low beam light not working, so I thought damn the globe has blown

However when I put high beams on the globe that was not working in low beam works in high beams  and I cannot see any difference between the light intensity between right / left.

WTF is going on :tease: .

Note: I have checked fuses and they appear to be ok (even swapped them and it made no difference)

Have one of the elements in the globe blown (ie will need to be replaced) or is this going to be Ford's problem come wednesday!!!

thanks

Well, each Globe got 2 Filaments, one for High Beam and one for Low Beam.

Low Beam Filament in your left Globe must be RS. You will have to get a new Globe.

Your globe is u/s just go to a auto store and pick another up and do it yourself or replace it with the better globes 30% brighter but do both sides if you change the brightness of the globes hi and low beam I did.

I did mine and from memory I took the airbox off as it can be a mongrel of a job unless you got rubber hands that can twist 90 degrees. I found that doing the R/H/S where the battery is easier actually got my hands between the battery and the light unit but those clips that hold the globe in can be a drama.

Do yourself a favour and change both of em when youve got the tools out and the motivation.

I did one of mine that blew and 5 days later the other went as well.
