blueboost Member 1,204 Member For: 21y 21d Gender: Male Location: Mackay NorthQueensland Posted 31/10/06 12:02 PM Share Posted 31/10/06 12:02 PM I have not got a picture, but I messure the hight that it sits in the tank, from the bottom to the top plate, and then messure the lenth the hose has to be, (only about 7cms at a guess. that way there is no sideways presure on the hose.the hose should be straight, but if you do it to long, it will not push into the tank low enough. hope this helps David Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/28581-car-died/page/3/#findComment-457468 Share on other sites

Goobz Member 746 Member For: 20y 8m 5d Location: Sutherland Shire, Sydney Posted 02/11/06 07:42 AM Share Posted 02/11/06 07:42 AM Is it splitting at the clamps?I read somewhere that you can't use normal clamps as they split the hose. You need to use proper efi hose clamps which are designed not to damage the hose.Chris Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/28581-car-died/page/3/#findComment-458495 Share on other sites
