In Australia it would be The Great Ocean Road.

But my favourite all time peice of road is the Nurburgring.. After going around that peice of awsome bitumen.. NOTHING will EVER compare again..

YEah the Great Ocean Road would be one of the best drives in this country, too much traffic on it and last time I did it , was in my Astra.

Here in Sydney the Royal National Park at night, minus the dear's, is a a great drive for these cars.

But I dont think anything could beat a week around Tassie.

My fav bit of road is one I get to drive every day, B.T.U. road up nowra hill

nice bit of twisties has the nick name of mount panarama

They are all third gear corners its great just riding the torque of the falcon up the hill

Fark and to think that I have been driving past that road each time I go home to south coast for the past 4 years... NOT HAPPY :spit:

I think a small detour is in order next time I head home..

Dont get to execited, its good for a quick squirt, 4 tight little corners and its over in 30 sec, best done uphill.

Another good stretch rear my place is Jervis bay road between tha Husskinson turn off and the Vincentia roundabout. 80kph, 3rd and 4th gear corners with some off camber and +90deg turns.

All so from my brissy days, the Rollacoster at belmont. It runs beside the gateway toll road and ends up at the rifle range. Not much in the way of corners just a series of hills that are good for a bit of negative gees.

Myself and a few mates did it at 200, thinking back I must have been crazy.

Lucky to still be here really

Gotta say I don't like Parramatta Rd anymore. Jumped in the car with the girlfriend with the aim being to head up the the Blue Mts on a nice, sunny Sunday in April last year. Didn't work out so well...

I'm bloody lucky that my head is still attached to my shoulders. You'll have to excuse the girlfriend's expression - she'd been showered in glass and wasn't too comfortable.
