I now of a Mazda 626 with a turbo 3 litre V6 that's front wheel drive and it would clean up half the modded T,s and Phoons on this forum. :spit: The thing is insane and at 130kmh it torque steers all over the M1 motorway. :smilielol: Its a daily driven car too :idunno:

Yeh that sounds like alot of fun......not.

Avalon...........wasn't he a hairdresser in Grease :spoton:

Im with Tranny, I've owned a fwd twin cam corolla and handled great, been in a EP92 glanza starlet with a 1.3litre turbo (gt28) and I would smash any "T" or GT here ,185rwkw or so from a 1.3 hmmmmm...Torque steer yessss, but man it hammered..

But before owning the "T" I've had nothing but corollas, and never had issues with them, but the "T" im always worried whats gona give if I hammer it, but Im not worried that I got the "T" Im looking at potential :idunno:

The Aurion will be good to see when modded up.....hey at least its not a Expensive Daewoo or brand spankeing new designed rx9... :smilielol:

ps: theres nothing wrong with fwd, they are more predictable in the wet and safer to drive, well that's just me.

I too had a TX3 laser turbo that made a respectable 135kw at the front treads and at the time smashed current VX clubbies and was easy to drive. It just gave your arms a little work out.

If they are going to the extent of supercharging, they could very easily do what Mitsu did and release an all wheel drive version. "Oh Oh, Happy learnt how to putt."

I'm wondering why your TX3 Laser Turbo out accelerate a VX Clubsport at the time? It was probably a bit lighter so the power to weight ratio would have been in your favour? Does that imply the new supercharged Aurion could do the same against current Fords and Holdens?

If they are going to the trouble of building an aussie car, why cant they build what the aussies want???

I mean, at 200rwkw n/a, its not bad, but until its a realistic rear wheel drive performancxe car, none of us here would be at the slightest bit interested.
