Hi Guys,

Just read the 30 Aug article on the Aurion here on Webwombat. They say it will be 204kW normally aspirated and that the Sportivo will have the supercharged engine. The photo in the article (below) looks okay to me too.

What intrigues me is that Toyota are reknowned for their quality of build - like I've owned a Corona and a Camry (yes - we all had to start somewhere :spoton: ) a long time ago and I just remembered that I had no mechanical quality issues with them, no clunking, no many plastic bits falling off (though they did fade in color :pooh: ), no brake shudder. (Okay - who's going to say "no power, no speed, etc." ). But seriously - from my experience, Toyota build quality is quite good.

Any comments from you guys?

Even supercharged, it will still be a boring, front drive, retirees type car  My 74 year old old-man would love it.

I now of a Mazda 626 with a turbo 3 litre V6 that's front wheel drive and it would clean up half the modded T,s and Phoons on this forum. :spit: The thing is insane and at 130kmh it torque steers all over the M1 motorway. Its a daily driven car too
