A oil will show higher consumption.Also, some high performance synthetics also burn off more than a mid level batch.Just count youself lucky you don't have a Dunnydore with a Gen III where GMH considders it normal for them to burn nearly 5lt in 8,000 ks. Like, how many kays does it take to go from nice clean new looking to brown "change me now" looking? that's when I change it, 5000 or as soon as it starts to look like sh*te... one days worth a track abuse and its time for a change, god knows how much it used though, I cant see myself being anal enough to measure it.
