Did you go for a bigger compressor wheel, so the same as stock just with a 0.7 AR compressor cover ?

I fitted a bigger 66mm comp wheel (vs stock 61 mm), and while it produces more kW it results in about 500rpm in additional lag.

Cheers

Robin.

To the best of my knowledge, it's the 66mm wheel.

I really don't want to induce more lag, but with increased efficiency to the the whole intake tract, the turbo will only have to boost to say 17-18 psi to achieve full manifold pressure and desired power level ( I hope ), instead of 25 psi +. Lag times should be reduced I hope, along with intake temps, and hence achieve my power levels easily..

I'm only chasing slightly more power than I had, with the new turb having to do less work to provide it.

Thanks Tabitha, As far as that retched yellow thing goes, it will always have the upper hand, As soon as the edit s/ware comes out for the auto guys, it will drop .5 from most of there ET's.

I don't mind being compared to autos though
