Whats the damage $ wise and what sort or response are you expecting out of the new one? looks  :msm:  sitting in there....  :censored:

I think Nick said around $2500 or so, but ppl will have to check with him on that. Dont quote me on it!!! I got it a bit cheaper :gooff: But it can go with an external gate too, ideally that is. I couldnt be stuffed getting into gates and craap, so went with a compramised setup.

I think wog said this ( mine ) turbo would go to around 400rwkw, and boost 15-20% earlier.. External gate setup would go to 450rwkw.

End Result, ideally I want maximum boost and power as low as possible in the rev range. The plenum I have ( put on hold, coz I can't go anywhere ) might help that if my theory is correct. No science to it, just F6 Ute logic. lol..

Power will be capped, in the end with cooler and plenum etc to 350rwkw. Easily achievable with what I'm doing imo, and hence my reason to make it all happen down low. Low boost, low intake temps, low restriction = good power, and more importantly for me, excellent power delivery..

Did you go for a bigger compressor wheel, so the same as stock just with a 0.7 AR compressor cover ?

I fitted a bigger 66mm comp wheel (vs stock 61 mm), and while it produces more kW it results in about 500rpm in additional lag.

Cheers

Robin.
