Even in the Wheels big tyre test they were average, finishing well down the list. Wet traction was not in the same class as tyres like the Eagle GS-D3 F1 (best wet weather tyre), Dunlop Sport Maxx, Michelin PS2, Yokohama Advan. Dunlop Sport Maxx are brand new out afaik?? And he has back to backed Advans.Make sure you're comparing Proxes T1-R, not the other in the series too.. They ( T1-R ) are a soft compound 'track' tyre, so obvioulsly they will have wet weather sacrafices, but it's coming into summer, and we need grip.. Didn't realize this was for track work. If so there are other choices.
