In this limited edition, known as the MonaroVXR500, the forced induction increases powerfor the familiar LS2 6.0-litre V8 engine from403PS (297kW) to 500PS (368kW), while torqueincreases from 530Nm to 677Nm! Performedin the UK, the conversion includes a “positivedisplacement” Eaton supercharger, upgraded fuelsystem and clutch modifi cations. Vauxhall claimsthe £35,995 ($A89,198) VXR500 should have asub-5.0 second 0-60mph (96.5km/h) time.
