tyre wear shouldn't be a problem if the skid pan is well watered and with diesel :innocent:

Ahh that depends.

Whether you are actually on the wet part or the dry.

Need to pump the tyres right up too. I forgot last time and the outside edges were worn at the end of the day.

OK. Some of it was done before the day as well. :nod:

Hi Guys,

We will call for some definate numbers now, could we start to make a list

Location of event for thoises that dont know:

OK, Roadcraft is where it is being held, check out www.roadcraft.com.au

when you drive to Gympie, you will pass a Matildas then there is a Caltex servo which is in the 80 zone. once you cross a bridge with a rest area immediately after it, you are directly opposite the complex. Take your next right then turn right immediately again. Follow this staraight ahead then through the gates in front of you. there is a bike track on your left, turn left. Follow the roadway down and around, then you will need to turn off to your left on a dirt section of road which is about 150 m long, give or take a bit. the skid pan will be obvious to you by this time.

I will ask for payment as we have to pay before the event so will PM this out to those on the list. I will do this shortly.

In meantime:

Attendees:

We have 12 cars already confirmed from the FPV club;

List:

No objections to other makes and models of cars etc the more the merrier and everyones welcome.

We will have an instructor on hand to run with us and "do whatever we need him to do" we will run various courses and the instructor will advise / run / suggest / passenger etc as needed. We ran with the FPV & XR Club recently and had a ball.

web addy: http://www.drivertraining.com.au/index.html (- sorry here)

(Shaz: All existing 12 enteries are all Xr / FPV fords so far, but will take any person redardless of car etc).
