I have a BA XRT, which I have had for a year now. As much as I enjoy the power the car has, there is nothing wrong with wanting more.. I have been reading up on the APS phase 2 kit, which seems like the option for me.. However I have heards some not so good things about the company... Like I said I don't want to start a fight...I just want to know if anyone has had a APS kit fitted to their car, want the think about the system and the service....Cheers RobbyD Edited 11/09/06 05:15 AM by RobbyD

I think the main problem is still getting it because as far as i know its out of production. I have an aps exhaust on my ute and its a very high quality piece of kit.. edit: If your hearts set on APS gear then go for it but depending on what power level your chasing there may be cheaper alternatives...good luck mate.. I agree they make some quality gear though.

The additional power was awesome, and has proven quite addictive. I Intend to retain part of the exhaust (cat back), but this will be the only element of the phase II kit that will remain on my car following the last range of upgrades. Many people with APS exhausts have suffered cat failures, myself included, so just be mindful of this.Dependant on how much power you want, Edit, Injectors and Valves springs are a great and very solid step, and will be less expensive than the APS kit.Next mods I would suggest are CAI, Cat, and intercooler. If you want a kit, I think the Nizpro Stage II kit is the best going around, and totally transformed my car along with the Nizedit. If I had my time over, this would be the first thing I would do without any shadow of a doubt, however it is a little more expensive than the APS phase II (but should support more power).Hope this helps, and good luck with the mods!Cheers,Ben. It's a deeper tone, and sounds tough, but is NOT loud.It is expensive though, and can not be bought as a seperate item. Available with Ph2 kits and above. The APS IC and waste gate mods associated with chasing over 300 rwkw are also very high quality items. There are much cheaper ways of getting the same power. The biggest drawback is that APS still persist with the Unichip piggy back style signal bender. It works, and you will have a reliable street legal performance car (APS kits are ADR compliant, when you also request the engineering certificate)As in all cases, pick the tuner that has the experience with the package you decide to get. The APS gear with custom EDIT tunes gives exceptional performance, economy and day to day driveability. It really does depend on your budget....tom

Go and see Rob at HPF and Simon at Nizpro. After talking with both use whichever you feel most comfortable with. Either will give you a great result.Geea.
