no matter whether you follow red or blue, its hard to not think of Brocky when you think of motorsport. He did a marvellous job of raising the profile and was instrumental in creating the competition between Ford and Expensive Daewoo

RIP Brocky

That's just ....ed.

met him once and agree with everthing people have said here, down to earth and friendly. Who cares what he drove, this is a real shame.

An interview with Mick Hone.

Asked if he would ever race again, Hone paused before saying: "I'd race with Peter Brock again."

No I missed it, I take it was pretty bloody good.

Scotty

yep,

craig with tears streaming down his face and a tremor in his voice said he just couldn't get in and drive right now, and how much of a wake up call it is, a reminder that Racing is dangerous and drivers are not immortal.

Bathurst will be very different this year

I was in Targa West and due to an accident a couple of cars in front of us there was a delay on this stage. To pass the time we were out of our cars and I was talking to Brocky about this event. He was really enthusiastic about these types of grass roots tarmac rally events and said he loved competing in them. He talked about the Daytona with the excitement that we show about our cars. For someone who has driven the best in the world this was really refreshing.

I have always been a Ford man but Brock has been a hero for many years not because of his driving ability but because he always had time for the fans.

RIP Brocky - a legend.

Could have sworn it was an EA, after a fallin out with GM

Yes, after the polarizer incident, he went to Ford for the Brock EA.

My best mate had one. The amount of abuse he got for having the Brock badge and sig on his car was unbelievable. People did not know about the car, so verbally abused him often..
