As a new Phoon owner and a moderator on ls1.com.au most people on there have respect for all cars just like here, however like every forum there are often those that walk around with only one eye open and cant see past the badge on the front of the car  :spoton:

The Expensive Daewoo brigade are hoping for big things from the VE and from what I have seen so far they will probably get it, its a good package.

Ive read some reviews on the VE and I must say, if it is as good as the write ups, I for one will be thrilled. Why? Because by Expensive Daewoo raising the bar, Ford will need to raise it again, whether they do or not is another story. I just hope the Ford boys dont reflash themselves and go into limp mode.

Guys,

Just having a quick squiz at the LS1 forum and just wanted make the quick remark about the fact that we should count ourselves lucky to be able to afford drive daily such a wonderful car and made a wise decision to buy an F6.

A refreshing reminder that we drive arguably the best cars under 150K in Oz.

Didn't realise how much respect the car had from the boys at LS1.

:crybaby:

PS. If only some the ignorant ones sat in moded phoon or even a stock phoon for that matter....

You must have been there on a good day. Have you seen the thread, How to make a VTII SS as good as a Typhoon?

That thread has turned into a dogs breakfast. As many positive comments as negatives though....every forum has its tossers and ls1 isnt immune.

Started out interesting anyway....

That thread has everyone who owns at least a 5 litre Vl commode claiming to have eaten or as they call it (handing around asses) typhoons at every opportunity.. I wonder how many phoon owners actually laugh when they see these things take off and think to themselves "Is this idiot racing or has his exhaust just fallen off?"

Before I bought the Phoon I walked in there I told the HSV guys I was ready to do a deal on the day but wanted to drive their GTO Coupe. The HSV guys with their noses in the air saying ''mate lets do the deal first and then you can test drive the car'' I laughed at them reminding them I had bought an SS and a Senator from them but they thought their cars were too precious and weren't ready for an enthusiastic test drive so drove to Ford and test drove a Phoon 'wow' then made an order.

Maybe I should Thank the HSV boys because that was the best thing they could've done for me. Thanks to them I have a much better car.

That is some shocking customer service considering you bought twice from them before. Car salesmen are shockers at times...

Could not agree more Blonk, some of the wankers in VH - VL's that try and run me in the T honestly makes me laugh. Why would I bother, then when you drive of normally and pull up at the next set of lights they give you a smug look thinking they have just smoked you.

HSV car salesmen are arrogant f*cks. Someone should remind them they're selling COMMODORES, not f*cking Ferrari's.

I had to endure the experience with a mate who was wanting to trade in on one. He didn't bother.

Yep, a VH-VL wanting a go will always beat me at the lights for one very simple reason - I find it extremely hard to race whilst laughing hysterically. Sik doof doof bro maaaaaaaaaate.
