As for negative feedback re the E Series for example my uncle drove the (SS or Bogan special can't remember) he has a VZ Calais with the LS1 all stock and he didn't think there was a huge difference in drivability and he was a little disappointed with the perfromance in the auto.
I know it's far from the performance side, but has anyone had a good look at the interior or sit in the VE? A guy at work bought an SV6 and it has 1992 Camry seats in it. Flat as anything and no bolstering. I don't know why Expensive Daewoo do that to their customers. Sh!t!

Yeah I have had a close look at one and they arent too bad at all quality wise, much better than previous models.....however in saying that, we shouldnt get too carried away after all they are still locally made same as the Ford.

I know what you mean about the SV6 seats, I have heard other people mention that they have been downgraded from what they were in previous models.

Not one of the single/twin turbo ls1 folk have mentioned there licensing experience with the kit. Is that because the kits are certified for off-road use only, and do not comply with ADR regulation?

I'd be interested to hear your experience Redline.

The single turbo ls1 kit that I had is ADR approved, however my car wasnt for a number of reasons, namly some modifications done to my car outside of the kit.

The twin turbo kit is currently going through ADR compliance.

MMM you guys seem to get all the fun!

I don't know if its because I am an old fart or something but all I seem to attract on the streets are the bizare ones. I have had a guy run up to the car whilst waiting at the lights in the middle of the CBD almost begging me to "light her up" ... in the middle of downtown traffic??.

As for the red light challenges how about a demon inspired Integra driver..... who must have been on drugs and just would not accept defeat :spoton: .....and then there was the F250.... I have no idea what he was thinking :fool: Have only really had one SS ute try and take me, on the Roe Highway, he got the jump, mainly because I did not even know we were on...as I pulled up alongside him I pissed meself laughing, here he was hunched, yes hunched over the wheel, refusing to even acknowledge I was there.... bye bye

oh well just life on the streets here in the west..... go figure.

Most times I just cruise along and listen to her purr. My silly grin must annoy the crap out of the boys in Red :spit:

One of the lads at work has a modded SS, about 300rwkws. He took my girl for a drive and has since added the TT kit to his, now doing +400rwkw. Two things he said, it was the only way he reckoned he could stay competitive and, it sure as hell cost him a lot more than $10K. It sure is one sweet beast now.

The LS1 is awesome with the single turbo on it, never mind the twins (after a intestinal cleansing experience in Tunas old ute). The torque they make is stunning and instant...

I really hope we're all talking about being quicker on the track though, as far as I can see most heavily modded 6T's or Phoons or LS1's etc are ALL unable to put it down to the tarmac in day to day driving (Im not saying they cant be driven daily, just the power is almost too on/off)...Im not sure at what point a car goes from a high powered street car to an out and out weapon but many are wayyyy past that point.

a TT kit for an LS1 fully installed for under $10k ??? I'd like to see that.. not saying its not possible but  I thought it would be more??

Cheapest I have seen it done was 18k..

Ran 370 rwkw's reliably....

After a complete motor rebuild......

Still get a crap engine in a crap car, most likely driven by some un educated knuckle dragger. Personally I hope this Very Excretement offering from GM breaks their back, not for the workers sake.

Ever since the first FJs :spoton: arrived in tear down packs and were called an Aussie car GM have been making rubbish for the Australian motorist.
