And I was wondering what would stop me from bypassing the boost solinoid and running the boost line direct from the waste gate actuator to the turbo and running an adjustable tee piece off this. THis would than enable me to adjust the boost. Is this option possible, what would stop me from being able to do this.Just an option I was thinking, that would enable me to adjust my boost without having to purchase a flash tuner. Any advice or knowledge on this would be greatly appreciated.THanks guys
ZAP No boost, no bottle, just my foot on the throttle! However, please note the following...- I had an edit custom tuned to the boost setting. - It was a last resort as ford would not fix my underboost problems (the car was running less than 3 pound, didnt matter what we dialed up through the PCM)- Boost comes on hard and will stay on as long as you have your foot down... I.E. If you set at 10 it will hold 10 till redline....- It is waaaayyyy tooo easy to dial up 15 when you feel like it...- Lots of fun but not for someone who actually likes there car...You see it wont work without the edit... (will just go into limp mode after overboosting) When you have an edit you might as well get a custom tune, therefore eliminating the need for the boost control to begin with...
