I had my initial tune there with the same mods it only produced 268rwkw,I was told the auto could rob the power aswell,to give credit though the car did run a 12.7 @ 109,but since going elswhere and running the rdp computer in conjunction it made 304rwkw,went alot harder aswell

Glad to see im not the only one. Powertorque is realy a dedicated ls1 tuner, and ive learnt from my mistake. Youd think being a capa dealer theyd be up there with the rest. Theyv got a well setup workshop but I think there busy enough with other work they concentrate on their specailty and arent to interested with ba tuning. That was my experience anyway.

it doesnt sound like they did much of a custom tune.5 runs on dyno isnt very many for fine tuning.I know with my car the tuner did about 15 runs just to make sure he was happy with afr's,boost etc and my car has only EDIT and valve springs..Dyno graph would be good and ive never heard of a stock converter holding power back..

to charge $500 for that is an absolute rip off :spoton: I'd be going back and asking some questions mate. Let them know that you've posted up on a forum, and the general consensus is :spoton::laughing: and see what they say. No workshop likes to be dragged through the mud for bad service!!

You say they specialise in LS1s??? well, theres your problem!!! they're so used to seeing LS1s pushing out no more then 250rwkw with lotsa mods, they just couldn't believe it... or else they were just trying to tame your car, so that there's one less lion tamer out on the road :omg:

280rwkw's would be a minimum with the mods you have. I have similar mods, including a high stall and am running well over 300rwkw's.

We should know what's happening with FIST shortly. I'm told than Vonny may end up tuning for the new owner. They might be the go if you don't get anywhere with PowerTorque.

I would do as others have said and let them know you're not happy and see if they try to look after you.

Get back in there and start swinging! don't leave till you're happy.

5:30 till 7pm should have only cost you under $200. You paid with hard earned cash and you should expect results. $500 should get you 4hrs of tuning, that's a lot more than 5 runs! Take it back or get some cash back!!!

GOOD LUCK.
