Goes by the name of 1 Short on this forum and a great guy (and his XR5 had no worries keeping up with a lot of super powerful T's & Typhoons). I'll see if he can reply to this thread as he was quoting a kw figure of 190 odd flywheel kw, maybe the same edit product. He probably can't answer a lot of questions CheersBrett

I remember seeing this KPM post on the XR5 forums and thinking nup, they've got it wrong that has to be the flywheel figures. There's 3 options for aftermarket flashing (that I know of) being bluefin (superchips) Dream Science (similar to XR6T edits) and Powerchips. All versions produce pretty similar figures around 190kw/380Nm

He was keeping up with me (I was changing gears fairly slow due to new gearbox) and im running 252rwkw.Very nice car mate CheersAdrian

I think flywheel, I remember reading somewhere that they have pretty small turbos or something and that big kw increases would be hard...top little car though, they sound awesome on over-run!Dave. Guest Guests Posted 23/09/06 06:30 AM Share Posted 23/09/06 06:30 AM so what would that be a 25+ kw gain?its a real good start when I read the first post I spat my coffee, but 190 fly wheels nothing like 190 rear wheel.these XR5's could only make 100 to 110 rwkw stock so to edit one to 190rwkw what would that be pushing 20 to 25 psi ???????? don't think so, like to be wrong but.Are you back on the road Tweak'n
