This is just another example of people placing too much emphasis on maximum power instead of the whole tune I.e how quickly it comes on boost and where the power is made etc.

A "complete" tune that delivers good low / midrange, 250rwkw with a 2.1 60' would get into the 12's.

As a comparison I'm running similar power to yours and with a worse 60' managed a 12.8 @ 182kms on stock tyres. From memory Flukey ran a 12.55 with around 255rwkw albeit with a better 60'.

Good memory :spoton: 12.55 with 257rwkw's, 12.7? with 245rwkw's.

My 60' was was 2.00

The wheelspin will account for the slower 60' time... 16psi seems a bit low to me. I have had success with about 24psi... got 2.1 60" in a manual. There are a few things you could look at though... how did the power feel? If it seemed lacking in top end you might have issues with valve springs. If it is surging you might have fuel supply issues... but judging by your 60' time I would say it's your take off. Warm the tyres a little bit before the line, give 24psi a go and see if it gets better. Still gotta be happy with a 13.4!! Your terminal speed is good so u will have a bit of headroom there.

16psi was to high last night .

Broke traction at the lights just a bit then just before it changed to second then again in second (a chirp)

5 runs at 12.723 to 12.779 @ 111.77mph 2.102 60'

with no warming of the tires with just a Tune 250kw approx.

performance mode let it do the work

It was your first time out, so that's pretty good.

Im sure you'll be able to knock down the times with more driver experience instead of thinking retune/more power etc. ;)

Ohhhh yehhh!

Me and my mate "The White *beep*", Paul (yes, you know which one), went out.

Tis a touch intimidating, for a first timer, with your tuner (and mate) beside you, and all of the other machinery as well.

I think the good news is, that on my very 1st run down the 1/4 ever, I passed at 13.4 @ 106.38 MPH. "The Rig" was in full Street Trim, with 3/4 tank fuel, 18" wheels at 35psi and an inexperienced pilot, with only an edit, tune and CAI.

I am told that it is a fairly reasonable time, and I did back it up witha 13.5 @

106.69MPH. Did also have another 2 runs, but lost traction both times and recorded 14.9 & 15.3 respectively.

Did have some fun though. On one of the "traction problem"runs, I still managed to catch skyline that had about 75mts on me. Wasn't he pi$$ed!

Thanks to Paul(from Elite) for coming. We also did some marketing and recruiting while we were waiting, cooling the car down with water. So hopefully he will get some more business, we might get some more members, and I might sell a couple of turbos.(here's hoping).

We will have to go again in the New Year. Maybe make it a monthly thing.
