picked up the new car today and noticed the window switches are not backlit. Reading some posts on this forum I thought BFs had them standard or am I wrong?

hey mike, I've got a BF from Dec 05 and it has the window switches backlit on all doors.

they only come on when the engine is on and park/head lights are also on.

I'd be surprised if Ford would cut back on something like that but you never know.

Just had a look at mine. Door switches are lit front & rear with lights on & ignition on. Lights on door switches will still stay on when key is switched off & light switch is on. :spoton:

The lights in the window switches will stay on while the light switch is on. They will switch off after a period of time... I'm not sure what you are :spoton: about??? :spoton:

I would be very surprised if they remove illuminated window switches from new models. Check with the dealer and give 13 FORD a call to find out.
