I presume that they aren't original equipment so was wondering if anyone had used them and had any impressions on their handling, wear, noise etc. From the website the 17's seem to be reasonably priced but not sure how the 18's stack up. Not sure on pricing, all the testing was done with a BF XR6 with 17s.

QikSmurf Member 246 Member For: 21y 7m 2d Posted 06/09/06 06:18 AM Share Posted 06/09/06 06:18 AM Dagabond,I have them on my F6 and I can't rate them highly enough. I think they are a 100% improvement on the SP9000. I run mine through some twisty roads and I can take some mild corners up to 15km/k faster on the SS595 than the Dunlops. I also rum mine at 38psi fronts and 36psi rear.I am really surprised by your experience with them. In the wet the SP9000 are a joke. Any more than 1/2 throttle in second and I loose traction (even from new). The SS595's are heaps better in wet and dry. I'm not trying to turn this into a commercial but the Federals are awesome! If you try them and don't like 'em, I'll buy them off you(for slightly less of course).
