Sorry guys if this is a stupid question

If you flash your T with a flasher with the 8psi or 10psi tune is there a noticable diffrence in power without having a custom tune done

there r a couple of tuners that sponser this website in sydney..I had my valve springs done by Mark at MRC at Castle Hill and my custom tuning done by Croydon Racing at Silverwater and am happy with both.. :smilelove:

this would be my choice

but get him to check it out first

sounds like tune to me!!!!!!

out of all cars I have tuned only one required valve springs and that incldes many at over 350rwkw

being mkii you already have bigger springs

I had the same problem with my Mk1. And it was the CAT CONVERTER. I removed a few parts, got her back to stock, took it to my ford dealer and had it replaced under warranty.....runs sweet again!!!

But I'm no mechanic.

I had problems with mine hitting the wall at about 3500 RPM it didn't misfire it just wouldn't pull felt like it hit the wall. After much head scratching and Dyno time we discovered it was a problem with the Version of the Software the Tuner was using to Setup The Capa. He had downloaded the latest version (as you do) and it appeared to have a bug necause he applied exactly the same tune using the older version and all was well. Everyone told me valve springs but two months and three track days later its still going well.
