Hi all, I have a slight problem which I need some advice on, on odd occasions the engine management warning light will come on after start up with the engine running but no response when the accelerator is pressed. If I restart the car all is ok, what would cause this?

The other issue is that I have an edit and wonder if this problem needs to be rectified by Ford will the error code if any be wiped when I flash back to standard mode prior to taking it back to Ford.

Any advice much appreciated.

Thanks

Deano

sounds to me like what the generic tune does to some cars,

tell me does it rev up to around 1500- 2000 rpm when it does this?

if so it is easy to fix with a custom tune.

if it is a custom tune, take it back to them, and they will fix it no worries.

that's a TPS for sure... zero throttle response is the giveaway.

the 0 throttle is the car protecting it self, flash back to standed and the problem will be gone, so it will be just a bit to much throttle opening at start up.

the generic tunes are known for it.
