blueboost Member 1,204 Member For: 21y 17d Gender: Male Location: Mackay NorthQueensland Posted 20/08/06 08:27 AM Share Posted 20/08/06 08:27 AM ithink the first one was a duble pass, which cooled ok, but was more restrictive then standed, the others are one pass intercoolers, they are good for the standed pipework, but take more to fit then some replacement, ie; wog cooler.that said I ran a 11.7 @ 114mph with that intercooler, but if I was buying one to fit the standed pipework, I would buy the wog one, way cheaper and from what I have seen so far cools a bit better, even though the pwr core is a better.what I am saying is I was disapointed in the way it fitted, I would like to be premoting the QLD made pwr one but I think they needed to spend more time making it fi better first. As to the power gains, well that's not just a result of the cooler but requires some decent tuning as well. Little bit cooler air charge temp allowing a couple more degrees here and there ...perhaps.
