On the PWR website, they list 3 different coolers for Ford BA's.

#1 is for Falcon BA

I assume it is a direct replacement for original.

#2 is for Falcon BA up to 2004 (Single pass)

I assume MKI.

#3 is for Falcon BA 2005 on (Single pass)

I assume MKII.

Is this correct? Also, what do they mean by "Single Pass"

ithink the first one was a duble pass, which cooled ok, but was more restrictive then standed, the others are one pass intercoolers, they are good for the standed pipework, but take more to fit then some replacement, ie; wog cooler.

that said I ran a 11.7 @ 114mph with that intercooler, but if I was buying one to fit the standed pipework, I would buy the wog one, way cheaper and from what I have seen so far cools a bit better, even though the pwr core is a better.

what I am saying is I was disapointed in the way it fitted, I would like to be premoting the QLD made pwr one but I think they needed to spend more time making it fi better first.

Appartently you dont have to grind the bumper support any more with the new cooler, they reduced the end tank size

does the pipework line up now?

Boh :finger: Ive never fitted one, I really dont think they are worth the money they ask for them, maybe they should start making them in china :stirthepot:

PWR are saved, they make radiators and supercharger kits for LS1's, we cant get them from China yet. Looks like there business will stay afloat for a while :crybaby:

I use the PWR and yes it required a bit of grinding to fit but the price put it darn close to a Wog Cooler and the quality ahead of it. As to the power gains, well that's not just a result of the cooler but requires some decent tuning as well. Little bit cooler air charge temp allowing a couple more degrees here and there ...perhaps. The issue for me was repeatibility and reliability of performance, which a large core I/c can provide with propoer choice, fitment and tuning.
