I have placed an order for my XR6T with this option.I was wondering what other people thought..If the sports steering wheel is better or the Momo as an option. It also seems to be difficult to find any information on these steering wheels, and a pic of the sports steering wheel seems to be impossible to find.... What is the difference between that and the sports one?

It has a more moulded grip and feels great.I drove the standard wheel and found it to be fine so for $695, I'll leave it at that.Personally, I'd take the sports wheel over the momo if I had to. Guest MrSparkle Guests Posted 06/12/02 02:01 AM Share Posted 06/12/02 02:01 AM I prefer the sports wheel over the Momo also, but the standard one is also quite good! Here is the sports wheel.. just love it!!

Certainly not for $700!
Guest DZ. Guests Posted 06/12/02 02:06 AM Share Posted 06/12/02 02:06 AM I'm with the majority - the sports steering wheel was just fine and it was also a reasonable size. For $700 I'd be looking at putting towards something else, like side airbags.

I'm with Superoo, Mr sparkle, edge, and Djelibeybi I kept my $700.00.not worth that kinda money, perhaps for $200 I would have gone for it, especially given they dont throw your old one away......I'm sure they get to send em back for credit at the factory. Nice and thick, chunky. Love it.The extra money on the wheel is worth it. It's your link to the car. It's gotta feel good for the rest of the car to feel good I reckon. Well, that's my 2c anyway

Just what I needed to remind me why I wanted to spend $700 on a wheel. I just couldn't remember. I could remember that it felt great, but couldn't remember the look...I will order one of these. It will cost $3 a month on the lease payment for something that I will get to use and see everyday. Looks great and feels great. So I will join ExAreSix and buy one of these, if anything just to be a little different (and the chrome will match nicely with the manual gear shift)..
