Yeah I saw a Black Bogan special last week, sad to say they look Fat As!

As long as it has the performance to back it up. I love my T, but I'm neither a Ford or a Expensive Daewoo man!! I just love performance!!!

I agree, I think they look good but, it has to have the goods for me to get one.

I don't care about badges, just good performance & stylish looks. :crybaby:

I test drove a SS at my local dealer on Friday. Not a bad car, but I hope HSV release something with a fair whack more power. Very plasticy, ride high is too high, gearshift still sucks. Closing your eyes and shutting the door you'd swear it was a VT commodore.

I can't see myself switching cars any time soon.

I have to disagree I think they look like crap and if any thing they are a funny looking car, like an astra on steroids.Ford would have to be happy with the result because the FALCON'S sh#t all over them.

I test drove a Bogan special on Friday...first impressions..

A total copy from a number of cars

BMW M3, Audi A4, Volkswagen Passat + Golf, Saab 9-3, Ford BA/BF, etc...

Just like the Falcon, the idea is great but the execution is crap. Very cheaply put together.

T56 had pretty good shifts (compared to my T5), and the clutch was so damn light it felt like I was pushing the accelerator.

The 6.0L had little bottom end torque, it felt it didn't pick up to full pace till about 4000 rpm. Was very quiet till you got stuck into it, and it didn't sound anywhere near as good as Jeff's GT even though it had quads.

Standard brakes (like the BA Falcon) are completely sh*t, and have no upgrade options.

The leather seats were pretty comfortable and supportive, plenty of room in the front however the salesman in the back had a bit of a whinge.

Not a bad car really. I'd like to see what HSV bring out.

If I was in the market for a new car I'd consider it (with upgraded brakes).

I was suprised at how small and crap the brakes looked to be honest, in all the build up there was talk of larger wheels to house larger brakes even on standard models and then I saw the ones on the ss-v.... :tease:

my biggest beef with the car is those over flared guards, It works with the SS and Bogan special but looks completly out of place on the Omega and the Calais.

The VT is still the best looking Dunnydore and the VE does not come close.

I saw a Bogan special in 2wmba last week, looked OK from the side, but as Ian stated they are very 380 from the front/rear

Yeah saw one yesterday to didn't think much of it. Side on look alright but look to much like a beefed up vectra.

I think the hsv's will look pretty aggressive going of what they do show on the web site. But I suppose have to wait till tomorrow when they unviel them.

It'll be intersting to see how motor magazine rates it.

Well I went to the local dealer today to have a look see. I was not that impressed with the SS interior.. Sure it looks ok but I think the centre console area it too cluttered with buttons. The plastics that they have used are not the best and some parts were loose already.. The Auto gear knob is rattly and the seats in my opinion are not as good af Falcon Xr. They offer less side support.

I do like the steering wheel and like how they have the volume contol in a roller type setup. I like how the head lining it black and it has this (dont really know how to describe) centre divide that runs from the sunglass holder all the way to the rear window.

The dash looks ok but I found the display on the radio a little hard to read and the cruse contol buttons are not in the best area (near head light switch hard to see when driving)

The gap between the guards and wheels is way too much.. they will look so much better when they are lowered the brakes look no bigger than fords performance package on Xr6t/8

I dont think that we should be worried. Sure they are gonna go well and will be better but you would think that after spending so much money on designing the things.

My 2c

Rob

Ps I will never buy one I love my T
