Ok I have accepted the fact that fuel consumption may be a bit high and I am prepared to pay extra $ in fuel to have the T.

My last question is... I have heard that all XR6T's 2002 to 2006 in NZ come with Premium sound system is this true?

Hope theres a few kiwis on here...

Cheers

From what I have heard, all XR6Ts and XR8s now have premium sound system. XR6 you could option it. The non-premium sound is a smaller screen - non colour, and there isnt a bass speaker in the rear parcel tray, or tweeter in the front pillars (I think).

I dont know if that is for all older cars, or if it came in at some time.

I dont know about CDRs as such. I have written some cds and they work, they cant be mp3s though.

Have a look at a car yard at an XT and and XR8 you will see the difference.

Thank you all for all your help :spoton:

I have made up my mind and everything is sorted and ready to go, fianance, Insurance the works, all I need now is to find the T.

If any fellow Kiwis see any good deals out there let us know.

I have turned 2 Blue Print XR6T's down just due to the interior, I dont like the greeny/blue fleck at all :nono: so I have been looking for the Deluxe otherwise I would own one already.

I will have to change username when I get my new T as I will no longer be jasonxr695 anymore

Thanks again all if it was not for you all I would now be driving a 182kw XR6 wishing I had a Turbo

Cheers

Jason

You have 4 options of interior to look at:

1. The coloured flecks

2. Grey Flecks (apparently most cloth seats have this, as lots of people dont like the coloured ones).

3. Leather

4. Sports Leather (swede and leather mix).

Door trims generally match the seats centre.

In Auckland - there is a crowd that Ford often use to make leather covers for the seats to replace cloth ones. They use a better quality leather than Ford, and cost less.

The BFs have a different patterned fleck.

Best of luck - dont rush it, you will find one you like.

That one looks to be well priced given the k's options etc, they would have just stuffed up the listing as there was no 3.8L falcon.
