Springs alone would retail for about $150pr, maybe cheaper if you shop around.

I put 18's on one of my falcons 5 years ago and I got instant legend status! now they dont even cut the mustard next to 19's!!!I dont think the ba's could take much bigger than 20's, my 19's only just miss one of the suspension arms on the front end. look at the top of your tyre, and you will know what I mean. I cant fit my little finger between the tyre and this arm when the car is on a hoist. I think 20's would foul this arm. I'd like to think I will find out!!!! Guest Mr Walker Guests Posted 12/05/03 05:48 AM Share Posted 12/05/03 05:48 AM Falchoon,So I take it that you and Saleen have the same springs? What's the "also available KFRL-68SSL" mean? Is this an even lower rear spring?Saleen, your's looks lower than Falchoon's - do the 19's have a bigger overall diameter than the 18's?

I suspect that they are just King sold for big $$ markup.19s should make the car sit a tad higher. At the Canberra Cruise I noticed my car with 18s was very similar height to other standard XRs with 17s.

I think the Hillier gullwing BA ute runs 20s or maybe bigger, I'll check the magazine article I have about it when I get home and see if they modified the suspension. I know they had to modify the suspension on the VY Late model camira ute with 24s in Street Machine magazine. Looks I reckon, especially with such large wheels on the rear and "only" 18s or 19s on front.
