I've had a quiktrak ssytem put on mine and twice have kicked my front tyre and have been rang within a minute by quiktrack to see if I was with the car but at the end of the day if I am outside of the metropolitan area I think from what I've read it will not be of much use to me-at least I will know if my beloved is being tampered with even if some smartie can disable it quickly

has any body else got this system?

the factory alarm for the ba xr6t is part no BA19A361AB and it is a replacement B.E.M. I just wanna know how to make it chirp on lock.

I thought you'd already asked this in another thread ... and I also thought it had been answered ... in short, your dealer can do it WHEN he receives an update of the BEM programming software from FoMoCo....

I was there, he did the software upgrade, I watched I even had him put it in police mode I checked through the options aswell, we fixed the panic but still no lock indication apart from the blinker flash I think they'll just have to get onto their helpline.

This may be a bit too obvious. But, I had the factory alarm on my AU. It came with a key which you could plug into the siren and turn to put it onto silent so it doesn't chirp. I guess it's for if you get home late, not to wake people up. Have you given this ago?

There is no key for the factory alarm al la AU - it is activated by the BEM and the BEM is unable to make the bloody alarm chirp as there is a problem with the master BEM program software - an upgrade is coming but who knows when???
