Tuning Question.....?

Does it matter what fuel Im running for dyno tuning.....two of my tunes I was lookn at 95ron and another for the strip at 98 ron...can you expalain how the 98 is done with 95 in the tank on the dyno........?

My 1st tune is low boost and low timing so good for petrol or unleaded

My other 2 tunes are for Boost 98

In your case for 98 ron Higher Boost and Higher Timing.

you need to change the fuel only when you want to use your drag tune.

If I were you, wait till its nearly empty fill it with 98 ron and some octane boost

yeh thanks Aly, but I meant for tuning purposes..... Does there need to be 98 in the ute to tune for a 98 map????

yes it does need to be changed, how will you be able to advance the timing to see how much you can get out of it otherwise

Yes you would need 98 fuel to tune it. It can be done without the 98 but is risky

no shock you take a tank of 98 to the tuner with no octane boost.

he will remove some timing from the lower tune to compensate

Might be a bit risky for Tweed pedesitians as well with me gettin rid of some fuel ........before the next tune being done

What I meant was you add the Octane Boost to your fuel prior to dragging on your drag tune. Dont add the octane boost when tuning
