faaark you guys are nuts.... and my topic was deleted for doing an SS Late model camira all within the speed limit :msm:

anyway... on topic... I have only ever done the speed limit as im a law abiding citizen. So the fastest I have been is 110kmh on the M1 from Brisbane to Gold coast :idunno: Man that was fast... It was so much faster then the previous speed limit they had of 100kmh... I couldnt believe how much quicker I got there at speed :pinch:

300+ on the R1 :idunno:

Speedo only reads 299 then stops but the rev's kept going around, estimate probably another 30kmh

Some of those terminal speeds are quite high- but remember that you have to

stop so.......... how about 212kph at Bathurst (1988 or 89 I think)in a group N EH

Holden, you know with triple webers etc and of course DRUM BRAKES!

It actually felt like at least 215!

230 in the T, so often the turbo let go angain and again and again...

257 in the EVO (with a GPS), wound it off the speedo last week but no GPS that time.

175 in the GXL 80 series

The T felt a bit floaty at +220, the EVO feels solid up to ~240.

Would love to get to 300 one day, before the do-gooders change the road rules up here.... :msm:

230kmh by a speed camera

That would explain the sale of the beloved Tranny, you may just raise enough to pay the fine you would have got.

You got that right  Lost it for 6 months :msm:

Lucky you only got 6 months, I front court tomorrow and am not looking forward to it.

:msm: Ridiculous your gunna be just as knackered by the time help arrives in a stack at 110 as you are at 210.
