Yea its easy on a bike.

I managed 275km/h on my GSXR600 and at that time got passed by a GSXR1000 with a passenger and he went by like I was pissing around, it blew me away when he went by like that.

203 in my old FG XR6 (NA) - TC light was flashing away at me, thought it was about to take off.

230 in my BFII XR6T - Handled okay for a 4 door boat.

I too have a really long driveway.

Without wanting to sound precious, but these speeds should be race track only - if so, go for it :beerchug:

If they are done on public roads, regardless of when/where, then that is just plain stupidity :nono:

The fact that most people are saying where they did their top speed run would suggest that they have an understanding of where it is and is not appropriate to do top speed runs.

I cracked 190 overtaking a couple of road trains in my F6. Non gazetted mining access road. My R1 did 284 on the same stretch, but I ran out of courage.

Gonad, of course in your circumstances that is different :beerchug:

I just don't think 'normal' public highways are the place for high-speed runs and people do take chances - anyway, its very big trouble if people get caught by the police or someone gets killed......

I wound my old BA ute upto the limit (230 IIRC), would NEVER do that again. They may be able to reach that speed but once they get there they really cant handle it.

Both my speeds were on the same stretch of road, about 14 kays long (dead straight), cleared for about 400 metres each side and dead quiet (no traffic, cars, houses, animals)

Would never really go that speed again, looking back at it, it was ridiculous and stupid.
