Ha. I thought for sure I'd see posts of "oh, evil!" and "how irresponsible!" when I opened this.

Indeed it is. Don't you people realise that if you exceed the posted speed limit by even as little as 2 km/h YOU WILL DIE! :msm:

.......got me f*cked how I’m still alive :spoton:

Speedo only reads 299 then stops but the rev's kept going around, estimate probably another 30kmh

Well my mate just (well almost 12 months ago) spent 9 gorillas on his 75th aniversary harley's engine including NOS and he still has not puckered up enough courage to press the NOS button!! :msm:

I ripped the NOS kit and comander off the R1 when I sold it so if you want to up that number on the 9 we can hook it up :spoton::kissmy:

would love to mate but the 9's goooonnne!.

have you taken the beast to eastern creek? if so what speed and lap time?

Only the island mate and I can't remember what my lap time was, I'm sure I have it somewhere and I don't think it was flash!! I do remember my lap on the Gixer 600 was quiker though!

the NOS was pretty useless in any gear below third and even that was mono city at times :msm:

The video clip I saw didnt look that unstable.

maybe if you lowered the car a bit - they wouldnt get so much air underneath and float about.

I think it was more under brakes it skipped about all over the place...

Lumpy

No, it was loose at speed. Worse on the brakes.

They said it was due to the lack of aero downforce.

I've got the article written by the Motor journo that did the run I'll dig it up...
