The speedo only reads up until 260km/h and it was way over (no idea how fast)

Did it on the M1 northbound towards Brisbane, highway run Midnight Club style, Southport to Woodridge in just 15 minutes!!!

Had heaps of camber back then and bloody oath I enjoyed the high speed grip, the damn thing felt like it was on rails

Them coilovers were designed for optimum cornering between 100-220km/h so obviously suffers a bit around tight corners and chicanes

though the days of night runs down the coast is dead and gone due to heavy police presence

*sigh* the good ol' days

nup ive been past that. where u read that? first ive heard of that one :\

I didn't read it. I drove mine to its limits on a private road and it cut out at 205 at about 4k revs or somewhere close to that. I've done this plenty of times and you can feel it just cut out and that speed and you know there's plenty more to go. It's the same feeling as when you rev in neutral and it stops at 3 grand.

This was in a bf, so if yours was a different model it would make more sense.

nah mine was bf but I dont recall the revs dropping at 4k. I wouldve been like wtf is wrong if it happened haha. not long till I try again. look I may be wrong but I do know it was over 200, I wasnt exactly staring at the speed haha, more important things to concentrate on at that speed :dontknow: lol 180 speed limit is all wagons

hahahah ginja..yeh id say being an ex chaser thered be a few things changed.
