The NA utes had a lower limit because of the tailshaft or something...but like the girly-boy said, who really cares about an NA

about 220-230 na xr6, wasnt taking too much attention of the exact speed, roads are pretty sh*t to say the least. stock suspension is a bit of a worry too..

Aren't they limited to 180??? My mates was cause I busted him when he said he went 200 so I told him to do it with me in the car!!

180 in a VS

190 in the T... was so effortless compared to the VS I thought why bother going any further...

Really stupid thing to do.. Swore I would never 'max' out a car after the VS cause I had a full car and if we did crash, the shame on my family if we got killed.. The T I was by myself, but I'd never do it again.. Now prob max 120 ish overtaking..

ahh, my bad..never seen the part in this thread where it said 'only turbos, nothing else' must be time to tell the optometrist his machine is out of whack

well im sticking to what I said, its definitely been over 200 so it cancels the 180 theory. and if its limited to 230 as wenier said, least I was in range of what I stated. if I really wanted to tell a pub story I wouldve said I clocked 230 in my first car, a magna -.-

Nah FPV F6 was taken so I through a 1 in front. I dont have a built motor so we keep the power under 400. My son has the NIZPRO F6 and we are expecting some good numbers out of it when we wind up the boost. It currently has 324 on 11psi.

Iam not sure about FG but BA and BF are as follows. All N/A - 180kph. XR6 turbo and XR8 - 230kph. All FPV - 250kph. I can vouch for the N/A and FPV as they both start to cut at the listed speeds. I would assume the FG are the same. If some one wants to check the owners manual and confirm. BUT once you get your car tuned and IF your tuner removers the limiter , its how much power you have to push the air out of the way. I hear the BA BF cuts the air nicer than an FG due to the smaller frontal area. So you need more power in the FG to go as fast as a BA BF. An N/A is so slow accelerating once you get over 100mph its hardly worth pushing it. The nullabuor would be the only place to find a long enough road. that's why they probably limited it to 180kph.

I'll vouch for the 180 limit in the BA NA.. However a mate of mine did have his removed and we were running equal power after mods and tune and he could push his over 200 (over distance).. Personally I only did 180 once and the car was floating.
