Done 180km/h in a smart car and have proof, also it was limited to 180 and would do a genuine 200k and not in Australia, so f*ck you hoon *beep* sh*t law.

Also did 1100km/h ground speed in an airbus a340, must have had a massive tail wind cos don't they fall apart around 900km/h? on the way back from UAE

well I haven't cancelled my insurance yet, so as far as they know I still have it and if they ask I will say never lost it, unless they can do a search??

Fairly sure they can check that sort of thing.

All they need is your license number and to type it into the RTA website.....

I am quite certain that the RTA and insurance company can not access your records directly (breach of privacy). However, the insurance company can ask for you to obtain a traffic history check before settling any claims. That's when you are in strife. As your claim will become null and void based on non-disclosure, Cheers

Yep, had a mate that wrote off a new rx8 and is now paying off a $50,000 lump of mangled metal because he didn't tell his insurance company about a license suspension he had previously.

hmmm. im staring down the barrel of a licence loss. quick squirt to 127kmh then back down to 60 fairly quickly. got busted and have a lawyer looking at it now. hopefully I can get it down to 6 months...

did it in nov and still hasnt been resolved. might plead not guilty so it goes to trial and I get it put off for another 8 months..... dontknow.gif
