I had my 65k service done recently and the service guy tried to get me to pay $100 so they could tighten the exhaust bolts. I asked if this was a regular service and he said ford recommended T owners do it every service? I thought he was BS'ing as this guy keeps trying to add all these services to me.have any of you been asked this? and if so is it necessary to do the tightening Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/27684-ford-service/ Share on other sites

Do it your self then tell them not to do it then your service SHOULD be cheaper.I checked mine a week after a so called service & it had 2 studs missing. Not happy.Anyway I'm back watching the V8's.Muzza. ZAP No boost, no bottle, just my foot on the throttle! This will stop them becoming loose and should stop any future problems. Don't swing off the bolts going into the alloy head.Hi temp loctite?? Do you have the number?Muzza. It shouldn't be an extra hunge, but I would expect about $40 for labour.
