how much are the stock 18's worth buying?

muzza

I got my front and rear spare rims without tyres for ~$450 each brand spankers without tyres. You can try Ford for a laugh, or perhaps to make you feel better about the deal you're getting from somewhere else.

wheel kind quoted me $780 per rim, no tyre.

ouch! :spoton: that where I got mine for ~$450!!

I might have one up for sale soon.. would $ 2200 with tyres be a good price, they will be brand new.

muzza

A full set of brand new set of F6 18s with rubber? I think you'll get ride of them EXTREMELY quickly at that price :crybaby:

I'm actually still on the original OEM dunlops. $2200 seems quite good considering the wheels alone would be around that. Actually more nowadays it seems, given what Fat-Tony was quoted :crybaby:

I'm looking at getting Michelin PS2s, but people are quoting me bloody $650 each tyre. Yoko Advan v103s are ~$400-something, I might go that. Dunno if the PS2s are $200 better than the v103s. Oh well.

Still a top deal. I was just thinking out loud about what my next tyres are going to be. Going to have to buy them soonish. It pains me to buy rubber that costs more than the actual wheel though, but thems the breaks.

Pay it Savage, after my little experiance with Federals I wont be making the same mistake twice. :fool:

yeah, too true eh? Be a shame to ruin the ride with dodgy rubber.

Not long hopefully start of september, I have paid for the 19's aswell but I am not sure if I should just go custom wheels to make it look more unique..

Keep the Factory 19s perhaps? The only cars running around with them will be others phoons or Fords who've bought them. At one point I was thinking of getting some Speedy Envy MkII rims in the gunmetal, but they wouldn't clear the brembos. That and the fact that I then saw a GTO around my area with them on, which put me right off the idea altogether.
