I know the drawbacks with using fuel with ethanol in it. What I want to know is your experiences with it.

Should I be worried about putting this fuel in my car if it has been custom tuned with mobil 8000?

In my experiance with my AU XR8, I swore by Mobil synergy 8000.. THe "other" fuels wouldnt go as good and some even pingged depending on tempreture/humitity.. Synergy 8000 had no problems.. It was tuned by the way..

I tried the boost98. and I found I picked up more response over the synergy8000. So I would almost highly recommend it..

Doesn't the Ethanol attack rubber hoses?

I believe it depends on mix percentage..

If it was bad, Ford would denie your claim cos you uses ethonol based fuel.

look on the fuel cap of the BF, it says you can run E10 fuel in the car. I dont think they will deny any warrenty problems related to the use of ethonol blend fuel.

It is a good fuel BUT DO NOT mix it with octane boost e.g. Nulon as when mixed it will turn into a gel as Geea found out and the whole fuel system will need to be totaly flushed out.

yes it does have some issues when running Only Ethanol/Methanol

not a 10% mix

In Brazil they run 27% in Holdens that are tuned to run on it.
